Short and sweet: Sales tax-free days are over in the US. Amazon will start collecting sales tax throughout the US starting April.

Amazon Predicted to Be Worth 1 Trillion in the Future

Buy Amazon shares. At least if you’re to believe Barclays’ prediction. It predicts Amazon to be one of the first trillion dollar companies in existence.

In relation to this, Bezos just snagged the number two spot on the ‘world’s richest’-list.

Amazon is certainly a force to be reckoned with. It’s a potent marketplace, with tons of future potential. All good news for sellers.

Why Amazon Might Struggle in Australia

Only 7% of Australia’s shopping happens online. This can be a struggle for Amazon as it enters Australia, Professor Gary Mortimer of Queensland University of Technology predicts.

Should future Aussie sellers be worried? Probably not. As seen above, Amazon has significantly changed shopping patterns in multiple places in the world.

Sellers getting in early will be able to get a bigger piece of the pie as brick and mortar sales will eventually shift more online.
