5 Productivity Hacks for FBA Sellers

If you think you could be working harder on your Amazon store… you’re probably right.

Most of us struggle with productivity. And it can be a big problem. Any work not done today needs to be done tomorrow. That means the more you procrastinate, the longer it will take you to actually see any success.

Success is what will motivate you to keep going. So if you find yourself in a rut, here are 5 productivity hacks that will get you back on track.

Measure Your Total Productive Hours

Everyone has a set limit to how much they can work productively per day. You might think a 40 hour work week is normal. And, it is. But how much of that work is productive?

Studies show that in reality, most people can only do 3-4 hours of FOCUSED work. That means during that 3-4 hours, you’re working the entire time.

The first step is to know how much work is even possible for you. So on one of your workdays, commit to totally focused work. And then do it until you can’t anymore. If you can, do it for the whole week.

By the end of the week you’ll have an average. Some days you’ll have worked more than others. Take that average and you’ll find your limit. Why is this important? Well, if you think about it, when you procrastinate, a lot of that time is wasted beating yourself up. Thinking you need to work harder.

When you know exactly how much you can actually work, as long as you knock that out, you’ll feel amazing.

Find Your Most Productive Time

Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.

…or does it?

For some people, it absolutely does. For others, it’s the opposite. The truth is, there is a certain time period where you are more productive than any other. And if you aren’t utilizing this time period to its maximum, you’re making your life a lot harder than it should be.

The thing is, this might not be what you think. You might think you’re a morning person… until you try working past 10pm. Suddenly, you get an avalanche of creative ideas.

To really figure this out, you need to test working during different times. For a whole week, wake up early and bust out your workload. For the next week, sleep in and start after lunch. For the next week, don’t start working until after 8pm.

It’s a bit of testing for sure. But when you really figure this out, it’s going to give you a HUGE advantage. And best of all, during your most productive time, work doesn’t really feel like “work”. So it’ll actually make your life easier (while you get more done!).

Work in “Sprints”

This one can be a game changer. You may find that when you power through 4 hours, it’s exhausting. On the other hand, if you break it up into eight 30-minute intervals, with a 15 minute break in-between, it suddenly becomes a piece of cake.

Because each of those segments just takes a bit of time. Then in-between you can stretch, relax, and get a bite of food. If you find yourself really struggling to knock out big tasks, this can be a game changer.

Streamline Your Process With Tools

Technology is so good these days, that odds are no matter what you’re doing, there’s a tool to help you do it better.

Take Tracker M, for example. It displays real-time sales data on all your products. So you can see profits, units sold, revenue, etc. With the app, it all fits in your pocket, and you can have this crucial data everywhere you go.

And it also includes customer service support. By combining two of the most essential aspects of FBA together, it will save you hundreds of hours over the course of a year. Click here for more info on Tracker M.

Use Your Last 25 Minutes to Plan the Next Day

When you’re wrapping up your work, you’ll be tempted to put it all away and think of something else. For 25 minutes… don’t. Instead, plan out everything you need to do the next day.

This ONE simple trick can change your entire life. In fact, many of the world’s most successful people, from John D. Rockefeller to Bill Gates, credit this simple tip with almost all of their success!

By making a plan, you guarantee your next day’s productivity. You can wake up and when your productive time rolls around… you’re ready to go.
